Sleigh Ride 20/21 Season
Today was a great day! We went on a sleigh ride and made a stop halfway through to go sledding. The kids absolutely loved it!
A Magical Winter Adventure
The sledding hill really made this experience special, adding even more fun to the adventure. We also got to stop and see an amazing herd of elk, making it a truly unforgettable day. The majestic creatures were grazing peacefully in the snow-covered meadow, their breath visible in the crisp winter air. It was a perfect opportunity to teach the children about local wildlife and the importance of respecting nature.
Traditional Sleigh Experience
Our sleigh was pulled by two beautiful draft horses, their bells jingling merrily as we glided through the snow. The experienced guide shared fascinating stories about the history of the area and pointed out various landmarks along the way. Wrapped in warm blankets and sipping hot cocoa, we felt transported back to a simpler time. The gentle rhythm of the horses' hooves and the soft swoosh of the sleigh runners created a peaceful soundtrack to our journey.
Perfect Winter Day
The combination of activities made this the ideal winter outing. After the sleigh ride and sledding, we returned to warm up by the fire with freshly baked cookies and more stories. The children's rosy cheeks and bright smiles were testament to the joy of the day. These are the simple pleasures that make winter in Utah so special – fresh air, outdoor adventures, and quality time with loved ones in a stunning natural setting.
